Coffee Roasters Redux…
Last time I wrote anything it was about this lovely coffee company - Cocobolo Roasting Co
Now once again we've had some more lovely selections and maybe we've become spoilt by the delightful taste. Have we become coffee snobs?
It probably should have been obvious when we ended up with a valved drip filter, a high end nespresso, a stove top espresso boiler, and previous filter machines and recently an Aeropress…
This week, our variety delivery was a robusta. This is the sturdier coffee variety compared to arabica. According to Wikipedia there's an earthy and bitterness compared to arabica, with additional caffeine and antioxidants.
Now, if you've been drinking some cracking coffee, nice and smooth, no matter how bad you are at coffee creating, this is a bit of a shock.
Still, Steve and team are incredible and within minutes of us asking about the taste change, a careful email came back, explaining the difference and offering an alternative blend this week.
